Magpie – Pitch the 406 Entry
We are a group of independent filmmakers from Montana producing our second feature for this upcoming summer. Right now, we are competing in the Montana Film Offices “Pitch the 406″ contest. The contest is an amazing opportunity for independent filmmakers. Of the many projects being pitched we are one of the few actually living and working here in Montana. We want to represent the state!

Hi-Line Films Presents Why We Ride: A Montana Ski and Snowboard Documentary. Coming November 2011
Last Man Stands
The Last Man Stands movie project on Kickstarter “In March of 2010, we [Alex, the writer/director & myself, Petra Ahmann, the producer] took a trip to Montana to determine if it was the right backdrop for our next feature film, which at the time, was still unwritten. We were both filmmakers in New York City, so Montana was a major change from the fast-paced hustler mentality we were accustomed to. First of all, film production is very far removed from the agricultural & mining communities that bring in all of the state’s revenue. Unlike New York, people in Montana are excited to be a part of the movie business”
